2003 Objectives:

1. Organize a points race series for Wisconsin riders
2. Provide services to promoters (website, prizes for overall in WCA series, finish line services)
3. Provide prompt, accurate Wisconsin Cup points updates

Areas to Improve in 2003:

• Development (fund raising)
• Communications to board, riders, and promoters: accountability
• Prompt, accurate results

Goals 2003

1. Produce WCA 2003 event schedule by Feb. 28; after which no additions. Post schedule by March 5 (suggested date); encourage promoters to stage races in August and September.
2. WCA points series updated within 3 days of the race
3. Produce annual awards dinner
4. Provide prizes and jerseys for state champions (exception: team time trial) and top three category winners
5. Encourage clubs to recruit new officials
6. Share ideas with clubs on how to reach out to new riders
7. Discuss ideas to develop for future (03 and beyond):
   • bike ads on WCA website
   • scholarship for promising u-23 riders
   • junior support
   • annual report
   • women's cat 4 series
   • permanent numbers
   • other promotions as opportunity arises

determinations, point value & breakdown, new races & promoters, communication with riders

Rider Awards/Jerseys: order state champion jerseys, order trophies for category winners, engrave cups

Rider Development: Discuss ways that clubs can bring in new riders; plan women's series or other promotions to develop new rider interest
